Refund & Return Policy

At Decorolala, we want you to shop with confidence. If an item is not quite right, we are happy to assist with eligible returns under the conditions outlined below.

1. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

We recommend reporting visible damage, incorrect products, or missing parts within 48 hours of delivery to help us resolve the issue quickly.

To evaluate your claim, we may request photographs of the product, packaging, shipping label, and any damage.

Depending on the circumstances, Decorolala may provide replacement parts, a replacement product, repair assistance, store credit, or a full refund.

No Restocking & Handling Fee applies to approved claims involving damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect merchandise.

2. Return Window

Eligible return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.

Requests submitted after 14 days may not be accepted.

All returns require prior approval and a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns shipped without an RMA may be refused and returned to the sender.

3. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, merchandise must:

• Be unused, unassembled, and uninstalled.
• Be in new, resalable condition.
• Be returned in its original packaging.
• Include all parts, accessories, hardware, manuals, inserts, and tags.
• Be free from scratches, damage, alterations, or signs of use.

These requirements do not apply in the same manner to approved returns involving damaged, defective, or incorrect merchandise.

Decorolala reserves the right to refuse returns or apply additional deductions where returned merchandise is incomplete, damaged, improperly packaged, or otherwise unsuitable for resale as new.

4. Changed Your Mind? Return Options

If you ordered the wrong item, selected the wrong colour, changed your decorating plans, or simply decided the product is not the right fit for your space, eligible products may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

Because many Decorolala products are oversized, fragile, and costly to ship and inspect, change-of-mind returns are subject to the conditions below.

Option A: Store Credit (Recommended)

The customer remains responsible for return shipping costs unless the return results from our error or an approved damaged or defective item claim.

We strongly recommend this option for customers who intend to redecorate, replace an item, or continue shopping with Decorolala.

Option B: Refund to Original Payment Method

Eligible change-of-mind returns may be refunded to the original payment method subject to the following:

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
• Original shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable.
• A 15% Restocking & Handling Fee will be deducted from the merchandise refund.
• Any return transportation arranged by Decorolala may be deducted from the refund amount.

The Restocking & Handling Fee helps offset the substantial costs associated with receiving, inspecting, processing, repackaging, and restocking large and fragile home décor products.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns:

• Custom, personalized, or made-to-order products.
• Clearance or liquidation items marked "Final Sale."
• Gift cards.
• Digital products or downloadable content.
• Opened or used health, beauty, and personal-care products.
• Opened bedding, pillows, mattresses, and other hygiene-sensitive products.
• Assembled, installed, mounted, wired, or modified merchandise.
• Products that have been painted, drilled, cut, altered, or customized.
• Merchandise damaged through improper handling, assembly, installation, storage, or use.

Exceptions may apply where required by applicable consumer protection laws.

6. How to Start a Return

To request a return:

1. Email support@decorolala.com within 14 days of receiving your order.
2. Include your order number, product details, and reason for the return.
3. For damaged or defective items, include photographs whenever possible.
4. Once approved, we will issue an RMA number and provide return instructions.

Please do not ship any merchandise without receiving return authorization.

7. Return Shipping

For approved change-of-mind returns:

• Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
• Customers may arrange their own insured return shipping or use a label provided by Decorolala where available.
• If Decorolala provides a prepaid return label or arranges carrier pickup, the associated transportation costs will be deducted from the refund.

For damaged, defective, or incorrect merchandise approved by Decorolala, return shipping costs will be covered by Decorolala.

We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service, as Decorolala is not responsible for returns lost or damaged during transit.

8. Refund Processing

Once a returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your return.

Approved refunds are generally processed within 5-10 business days after inspection.

Refunds are issued only to the original payment method unless store credit has been selected.

Financial institutions may require additional time before funds appear in your account.

9. Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges.

If you would like a different item, colour, size, or style, we recommend selecting Decorolala Store Credit and placing a new order once your return has been approved.

10. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled without charge within 24 hours of purchase.

Once an order has entered processing, shipment preparation, or has been shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible and the order will be subject to this Return Policy.

11. Lost Packages

If your package is lost during transit, we will work with the carrier to investigate and resolve the issue.

Carriers may require up to 21 days to complete an investigation.

Once the shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier, Decorolala will provide a replacement, refund, or other appropriate resolution.

If a package shows as delivered but was not received, you must notify us within 48 hours so we can assist with the carrier claim process.
